Army of Nature ASBL is the controller for any personal data that reaches it through this site. There is very little of it by design: the site has no accounts, no contact form, no newsletter, no advertising and no audience measurement. Reading it leaves us nothing at all.

If you write to us, by email or by phone or on WhatsApp, we keep what you send for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the exchange. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone who is not working on your request.

Several buttons here hand you to another company: PayPal for membership and donations, Ulule for the crowdfunding campaign, WhatsApp for partnership enquiries, and YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X for the channels. Once you leave this site that company is the controller and its own policy applies, and nothing comes back to us beyond what it publishes openly.

Our host keeps ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site up and to investigate abuse. They are not used to profile anyone.

You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to contact@armyofnature.org. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. It loads no analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking pixels, and it stores nothing in your browser.

That is why nothing asked for your consent when you arrived. Consent is required in order to store or read non-essential information on your device, and here there is none to consent to. A banner would be requesting permission for something that does not happen.

One embed does reach another company, and only when you ask it to. The videos on this site are click-to-load: until you press play, nothing is requested from YouTube and nothing about you is sent there. When you do press play, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's own reduced-tracking domain, and from that moment YouTube's policy applies.

If this ever changes, if the association adds audience measurement for instance, a consent banner will appear before anything non-essential is stored, and it will offer “Accept all” and “Reject all” side by side, with the same prominence and the same number of clicks. Refusing will never be the harder path.
